LEARN Canabinoids

Health benefits / effects
CBD- Cannabidiol
Helps with: stress, anxiety, epilepsy, high blood pressure, muscles spasms
The most prominent cannabinoid found in cannabis plants that possesses many health benefits.
Anti-inflammatory, stimulates appetite
Another cannabinoid that is known for its healing and anti-inflammatory properties
Helps with: Pain relief, sleeplessness
CBN is a non-intoxicating compound that is best known as the cannabinoid created when THC ages. For that reason, it’s usually present in high amounts in older cannabis. Recent studies have shown it to have sedative properties when combined with alternative cannabinoids such as CBD or CBG.
Helps with: Irritable bowel syndrome, pain relief
CBC is classed as non-intoxicating because it binds poorly to CB1 cannabinoid receptors in the brain, but CBC does bind with other receptors in the body, such as the vanilloid receptor 1 (TRPV1) and transient receptor potential ankyrin 1 (TRPA1), both of which are linked to pain perception. When CBC activates these receptors, increased levels of the body’s natural endocannabinoids are released. While CBC definitely has singular benefits, researchers believe that it works well with other cannabinoids, enhancing their effects- this is also known as the entourage effect.
THC- Tetrahydrocannabinol
Psychoactive compound which is made illegal in the UK and EU
Second most prominent compound found in cannabis plants. Most people recognise this compound as the one that gets you "high" and hence why we ensure it is completely removed in the process of creating products.
